On Saturday I went to my June's house (she's my upline) for a stamp-a-stack. That's where you make several cards of a few different designs. At this particular stamp-a-stack we made 5 cards each of 4 different designs. I used the cards I made as inspiration for my own versions, which I've posted here:

SnowflakeGreeting My snowflake card uses the SU Big Shot for the Snowflake #2 die cut
This is a real time saver, because you can die cut several pieces of card stock at one time!!

Winter Post stamp set (from the Holiday Mini Catalog available for purchase October 1st)
Sincere Salutations stamp set
Brocade Blue card stock & stamp pad
Whisper White Card stock
White Vellum Paper
Rhinestone Brads – Ice Circles
Two way glue
Dazzling Diamonds

You can't really see it in the picture, but there is dazzling diamonds on the several areas of the snowflake.

I used the stamp off method for the background snowflakes.

HomeForChristmas I really like the way this card turned out! It's very homey.

I used the Home for Christmas stamp set, again from the Holiday Mini Catalog.

I also used the Weathered background stamp, which unfortunately is retired. It just goes perfectly with this card!!

I used watercoloring technique, with the Aquapainters and the stampin' pads.

Real Red, Naturals Ivory and Brushed Gold Card Stock

Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa, Mellow Moss, Always Artichoke, More Mustard, Bordering Blue, Riding Hood Red and Real Red stampin' pads.

Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder

This card uses a very versatile stamp set called Loads of Love

I stamped the sentiments first, then punched them out using the Large and Wide Oval Punches. (The inside has "Wishing you Loads of holiday cheer!")

The mountains were made by just ripping the paper

The dashes in the road, nothing fancy, a white gel pen and a ruler.

Craft, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, Riding Hood Red, Always Artichoke Card Stock and where applicable, stampin' pads.

There's one more…
This is my design. I know it is different, you might even call it modern. I'm not sure. I thought it was neat. It's using complimentary colors, which give it a pop.

Using the Big Shot again and the Join in the Cheer Decorative Strip Die I came up with this card.

These words come in one long strip so I cut them apart.

I am also using the Ski Slope Designer Series paper from the Holiday Mini Catalog.

This uses Real Red Card Stock and Gold elastic cord.

It's really simple to make, however, you need to use the Anywhere glue stick for the die cut.

Okay, this concludes the Halloween programming interuption.

Back to Halloween.

Happy stamping!   ~Raissa
