Ready or not…here we come!

Ready or not…here we come!

That's a new favorite saying of my colleague Kathleen. You see she's pregnant with TWINS! I believe she saw a cartoon on a expectant Moms with twins website with that saying. Anyway on Friday we had her "office shower." Us girls in the office took her out to lunch. Not a normal happening where we work! I made what I think is such a cute card and gift card holder! Well, you can decide for yourself…

Okay, let me apologize now, I'm sorry, I just don't have any new baby stamp sets! Most of my friends are all done having babies!!

The onesie uses the retired Big on Spring stamp set (stamped in Pear Pizzazz) and sadly the retired Soft Subtles II eyelets. I also used So Saffron Card Stock and the Ice Cream Parlor DSP.

Here's what the inside looks like:

I used the again retired Fun & Fast Notes stamp set. This card also uses  1-3/8" circle punch, the Large Oval punch and the Oval Scallop punch.

Now for the unique gift card holder…I enlarged a baby bootie template in order to fit the gift card.

Of course a co-worker says to me that very day of the party "…it would have been great if you bought a pair of baby socks to put the gift card in and then put them inside the bootie!" Argh! Now she tells me!! Can't think of it all ya know!

I got the template for the onesie from Kimberley Morris. The template for the baby bootie came from Paper Scrapz.

It's been another busy week! Hmm, come to think of it, when aren't they busy lately?! A friend is having a baby next month and I wanted to do something different for her. I don't usually showcase retired sets, but I thought this particular stamp set was exactly what I needed.

Using the "onesie" bag that we learned in convention I made a gift bag and card for my friend. She's having a boy, can you tell?

The stamp set, "I'm Here" is unfortunately retired. All other supplies I used are not.

ImHere Supplies used:
Celebrate Everything
On Board Simon Upper (ABC)
Bella Rose Designer Series Paper
Chocolate Chip, Bashful Blue, Whisper White & Glossy White Card Stock
VersaMark pd
Bashful Blue & Chocolate Chip pads
White Emboss Powder
Bashful Blue Taffeta Ribbon
5/8" Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon
Soft Subtle Buttons
Linen Thread
Safety Pin
Scallop edge punch

Oh, I thought I would add another cute touch for the back of Imhere2
the card:

Well, I thought everyone could use a break from all my Halloween themed items.

I warn you though, there are few more coming!!

It’s too cute!

It’s too cute!

One of my friends just had a party to celebrate their son’s first year. I wasn’t sure if I was going to be making a card for this event, since I’ve been pretty sick for about two weeks now! Phew! I was able to make this in time for the party! This is the cute card I gave along with my gift. Unfortunately this set is retiring.

My inspiration was from another stamper’s card which was showcased in our On Stage magazine, which is for SU! demonstrators.
